The Stranger

I really like this novel. I think the main character has a very interesting voice. He seems very dull and dry, but that is why he is so interesting. It is a very complex story, in a very simple book, and I like that.

do the right thing

We discussed some of the themes from the movie and there were some arguments around the class. People were arguing about if the actions were justified during the riot scene at the pizzeria. It is sad that Radio Rahim died, but I don't think it was right of Mookie to throw the trash can through the window. Sal was nice to him and that was a mean move.

yesterday.

I went to the movies yesterday. I had already seen the first movie but I still enjoyed watching it. The second was good, but it was loud and gave me a headache at times. I also didn't have the same seat so I couldn't lean comfortably up against the wall. Lunch was the best part, Chuck Wagon was great. However I had to pay 3.50$ for some SourPatch Watermelon, a price I am willing to pay, but steep nonetheless.
